The ITS Congresses bridge the worlds of mobility, technology, and innovation, gathering experts, policymakers, and stakeholders from industry and academia to advance the intelligent transport systems (ITS) field. Recognising that mobility challenges transcend borders, these Congresses address not only local and national concerns but also global ones, fostering a worldwide dialogue on smart mobility solutions.
Organised by ERTICO every two years in Europe, and every third year in the EMEA region for the ITS World Congress, these events lead the charge in global ITS collaboration and innovation.
The 2025 ITS European Congress in Seville represents an important moment for stakeholders from across Europe and
beyond to come together and explore future-oriented solutions for clean, resilient, and smart mobility. Under ERTICO’s
leadership together with the host city and ITS Spain, this event aligns our joint vision of contributing to significant
European initiatives such as the European Green Deal and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy. This Congress
will spotlight how local and regional advancements can reflect broader European ambitions for a more sustainable
transportation future.
Organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe, hosted by City of Seville and supported by the Spanish Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, the Directorate General for Traffic, Andalusian Government, and ITS Spain, this Congress will focus on ‘Clean, Resilient, and Connected Mobility’. We bring together expertise from across Europe and beyond to the beautiful Spanish city of Seville to discuss clean, resilient and connected mobility.
The theme “Clean, Resilient, and Connected Mobility” addresses the pressing need for transport solutions that are sustainable, adaptable, and technologically integrated. As cities grow and demands increase, the importance of a cleaner environment, adaptability to disruptions, and seamless connectivity becomes evident. This theme aims to transform transport systems to meet both current and future challenges.
