Este curso es la base para cualquier uso de Visum, sus conocimientos son imprescindibles para el uso del soporte técnico de PTV Visum ligado contratos de mantenimiento. Incluye los siguientes temas:
- Manejo de los objetos de la red
- Procesado de las matrices de demanda
- Operaciones con varios análisis gráficos y evaluaciones
- Descripción de secuencias de procedimiento, incluyendo procedimientos de modelos de demanda, asignación de transporte privado, y asignación de transporte público
- Prácticas de Visum Scenario Manager para ilustrar la construcción de un escenario base y el manejo de escenarios comparativos.

Para ingenieros especializados, el curso proporciona una introducción a la práctica del programa para el procesado eficiente y la evaluación de los estudios de tráfico mediante un software estandarizado.

- Conocimientos de Office (MS_Excel, MS-Word, OpenOffice.org, LibreOffice) que operan con MS-Windows. Conocimientos de procesamiento de textos para edición de datos
- Conocimientos (por formación o experiencia profesional) de planeamiento de transportes.

Día 1:
- Introducción a los fundamentos de la planificación del transporte y de PTV Visum.
- Modelo de redes. Estructura y procesado. Objetos de redes y correlación de elementos básicos.
- Comprobación y validación de la red.
- Importación de datos desde otros sistemas (por ejemplo, shapefiles)
- Parámetros gráficos. Introducción.
Day 2:
- Modelos de demanda en Visum. Ejemplo básico de implementación de modelo de 4 etapas
- Procedimientos de asignación. Modelado de decisiones de elección de ruta para transporte privado.
- Funciones volumen-demora
- Procedimientos de asignación detallada: asignación incremental, asignación de equilibrio
- Procedimientos sencillos de asignación de TPU
- Gestión de escenarios (definición del proyecto)
- Definición del caso base de aplicación
- Generación de escenarios y descripción de las dependencias
Día 3:
- Presentación de resultados
- Visualización gráfica de los resultados de la asignación como grupo de flujos, isócronos, volúmenes de giros, diferentes variables de pantalla.
- Composición de mapas y planos
- Generación de matrices y vectores de indicadores: tiempo de viaje, distancia de viaje, tiempo de acceso y de salida
- Corrección de matrices con TFlowFuzzy
- Cálculo diferencial de indicadores para la evaluación de múltiples escenarios.
- Impresión de los resultados.
