IN_MOVE by Railgrup, as Presidency of the Multimodal Logistics Task Force together with DITECFER, launches a very innovative proposal to discuss the opportunities that join BlockChain and CyberSecurity to current Logistics scenarios.

This first joint meeting of the ERCI working groups will be held on June 20 and 21 and June 22 and will be designed for the partners of STARS (European Project) both to work and to form teams and will be used to carry out a impressive visit to the Carrara marble caves.

The initiative is organised by the DITECFER Railway Cluster in the framework of the EU funded “EXXTRA” and “STARS” projects it coordinates, and in collaboration with the ERCI Task Forces “Cybersecurity in Railways” and “Multimodal Logistics”.

AGENDA

ACCELERATION EVENT THE BLOCKCHAIN MADE EASY

FOR SMEs AND EUROPEAN VALUE CHAINS

ERCI 1st Joint Task Forces “Cybersecurity in Railways” and “Multimodal Logistics” meeting

BLOCKCHAIN-ENABLED RAILWAY AND MULTIMODALITY APPLICATIONS TO BOOST EUROPEAN INDUSTRIAL VALUE CHAINS

USE-CASES FOR OPERATIONS, BUSINESS  MODELS, SAFETY AND  CYBERSECURITY

Marina di Carrara-Carrara, Tuscany, Italy | 20-22 June 2022

You are almost to participate in this first-of-a-kind event conceived and organised by DITECFER in the framework of the two running Task Forces of ERCI-European Railway Clusters Initiative “Cybersecurity in Railways” and “Multimodal Logistics” and of two EU-funded projects DITECFER coordinates: “STARS” and “EXXTRA”.

We are going to address together a ‘very  hot’ topic: the Blockchain technology, representing a very important driver for innovation and performance, yet still needing to be known by wider audiences in its actual potentialities – and not only for cryptocurrencies.

Blockchain is and will be a key technology for the Railway and Multimodality sectors, as it introduces a new modality to approach processes based on data immutability. This untaps a very wide and varied potential of applications enabling benefits in terms of performance, safety, security, sustainability, operations, business models.

The full understanding of the technology and the identification of use-cases where it can deploy its benefits for each organisation  become, therefore, fundamental.

For this it has been conceived as an ‘acceleration event’. Proactivity from the Participants will be therefore key.

We are looking forward to learning a lot together with all the Participants!
