The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank)

100% EBRD loan

The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of 100,000,000.00 USD, will require the procurement of the following:

The financing is intended for reconstruction of the rail track and technical renewal of automation and telecommunication facilities (capital investment) on priority rail lines on Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) corridors. The proposed Project will require the procurement of

- rail track structure components and switches for track gauge 1520mm; and

- goods and related services for technical renewal of automation and telecommunication facilities (signalling and centralized traffic control systems).

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin on 21/10/2019.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will be open to firms from any country.

The proceeds of the loan from, or Grant administered by, the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.
