IN-MOVE by Railgrup, the Multimodal Mobility and Logistics cluster, is a new member of the CCAM Association, a European non-profit organization that promotes innovation in the field of connected, cooperative and automated mobility. Entry into the association represents a leap forward in the cluster's strategy to address the mobility needs of goods and people.
Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) Association is an organization founded in 2021 and promoted by the European Commission that aims to promote and facilitate pre-competitive research on connected, cooperative and automated mobility by bringing together the different actors in the value chain. . The Association focuses on the coordination of research and innovation activities in the CCAM field at European and international level, to harmonize European R&I efforts and, in this way, accelerate the implementation of innovative technologies and services.
Based in Brussels (Belgium), CCAM Association now has 230 member organizations from 27 different countries.
The incorporation of IN-MOVE by Railgrup is completely aligned with the new strategic vision of the cluster, which embraces the new connected, cooperative and automated mobility that is being worked on on different fronts. IN-MOVE and its partners are already actively participating in top-level pan-European R&D&I projects such as MODI, ULTIMO or PoDIUM among others.
Incorporation into the CCAM Association, based in Brussels, will allow IN-MOVE to increase its visibility at the heart of European politics, influence new calls for the Horizon Europe program among others and facilitate high-level networking between the main agents in the CCAM ecosystem and its more than 120 associates. In this way, the cluster opens a new scenario of great future opportunities for the entire value chain it represents.
