The IN-MOVE by Railgrup team was in Oslo this week for the launch of the MODI project, a cross-border European flagship initiative to accelerate the introduction of connected, cooperative and automated mobility solutions to significantly improve logistics chains.

 A total budget of approximately €28 million, five use cases and a public-private partnership of 29 partners from 8 countries to test and validate the implementation of CCAM solutions for real logistics operations.

The MODI Project will demonstrate use cases of automated HGVs without safety drivers on the motorway corridor from Rotterdam in the Netherlands to Moss in Norway, crossing four national borders and showcasing terminal operations at four different ports and terminals in route.

29 organizaciones de  varios países de Europa y un presupuesto de 28 millones de euros. Estos son los  recursos para impulsar un proyecto que trabaja el ámbito de la CCAM  (Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility),una de las próximas grandes tendencias de la industria de la movilidad. El objetivo de MODI es acelerar la  introducción de vehículos cooperativos, conectados y automatizados para la  logística.

Más de 25 millones de  euros conseguidos en ayudas regionales, nacionales y europeas en menos de dos  años. Este es el impresionante balance que presenta IN-MOVE después de entrar  en el proyecto MODI de la Unión Europea, cuyo objetivo es apoyar a la industria  de la movilidad europea en su transición hacia la conducción conectada y  automatizada, a la vez que se garantiza el mejor entorno de movilidad para el  público.
