Calling  all creative minds in the railway industry!

The International Union of Railways (UIC) has launched the 2nd UIC Train Rail Hackathon2024-2025

This is an event where  people from different backgrounds communicate and cooperate together in technological development. A group of designers, engineers, programmers, etc. meets to develop new ideas, offer innovative solutions to practical industry problems and manufacture product prototypes. Is not a competition in the traditional sense, but rather a gathering of creative minds.

This  global event aims to foster collaboration between training organisations and industry partners. Also to attract new talent to the railway sector and develop innovative solutions for the future of rail.

We're looking for passionate individuals to form teams of 4-5 people affiliated with rail companies, universities, institutes, training organisations, etc.

The Hackathon is organised in three phases:

  • Regional competitions: Asia-Pacific, Africa, Middle East, Latin America, Europe
  • Final competition: on 08 April, as part of 7th World Congress on Rail Training (WCRT)
  • Hackathon Award: during the 12th UIC World Congress on High–Speed Rail (WCHSR)

General thematic: Passenger, freight, rail operation. The exact topic will be given one month before the regional competitions.

Don't  miss this opportunity to be a part of the future of rail!

We are about to embark on a new edition of innoTrans, the most important fair in the mobility and transport sector worldwide. This year, In-Move by Railgrup will have a prominent presence, in addition to our stand, 36 of our companies will be represented. This is a fantastic opportunity to show the strength and leadership we have as a group in the sector.

We are excited to share with you the programme of activities we have prepared and the list of partner companies that will be represented at our stand, and at their own stands.

Europe’s Rail and SESAR 3 Joint  Undertakings have published a joint call for the development of an “Integrated  air and rail network backbone for a sustainable and energy-efficient multimodal  transport system”. The call targets solutions that will improve doortodoor mobility for Europe’s  citizens, and is expected to generate synergies between the air and rail  innovation communities. With a total investment of EUR 7 million, the call is  being co-funded within the framework of the EU’s Horizon Europe research and  innovation programme.
